Lines highlight in real time as the track plays. Sub-second precision, smooth scale and glow. Click any line to seek to that moment.
Community comments
SoundCloud's famous timed comments appear as quiet annotations below the lyric line they were left on. The crowd becomes part of the song.
Ambient background
Soft colour blobs drift behind your lyrics, derived from the album art. Every track looks and feels different — the background is alive.
Full-screen mode
Press F from anywhere on SoundCloud to fill your screen with lyrics. Press again to close. Press C to copy the active line.
Art styles
Spinning vinyl with live tonearm, iridescent CD, rotating 3D cube, or an official music video alongside. Album art, your way.
Instant lyrics
Cached after first load — lyrics appear instantly on every revisit. Searches LRCLib and lyrics.ovh automatically. Synced or plain, it finds them.

Install the extension
Add CloudLyrics to Chrome from the Web Store. No account, no sign-up, no data collected.

Open SoundCloud and play anything
CloudLyrics detects the track and fetches lyrics automatically. When they're ready, a panel appears — no button hunting required.

Press F
One key fills your screen with synced lyrics and a living ambient background. Press F again to dismiss. That's it.

You're set up. Here's what to do first.

Head to SoundCloud and play a track
CloudLyrics wakes up automatically — no setup, no sign-in. It starts finding lyrics the moment the track starts.

Press F to open fullscreen
Synced lyrics with a soft ambient colour background, derived from the album art. Press F again — or Esc — to close. The orange floating button works too.

Click any lyric line to seek
When lyrics are synced, clicking a line jumps the track to that exact moment. Hit Snippet in the header to save it as an image.

Make it yours
Open the Style menu to choose an art style — Vinyl, CD, Cube, or Video. Enable Comments to see community annotations. Switch ambience or lyrics theme in Premium.
